NICS Denials
If the transferee is denied during the NICS background-check process, the transferee must arrange for the firearm to be returned to the original seller within 14 days of the denial.
The following charges will apply:
- An additional $25 transfer fee
- A $25 denial-processing fee
- Shipping, insurance, packaging, and any other return-related costs
All return arrangements must comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws. The firearm will not be released to a prohibited or denied transferee.
NICS Resolution Resources
The following FBI resources may help individuals address a delayed or denied NICS transaction, submit an appeal, or apply for a Voluntary Appeal File number.
Unclaimed and Abandoned Firearms
A firearm that remains unclaimed for more than 30 days will be subject to a storage fee of $25 for each additional week it remains at our store.
If the accumulated storage charges equal or exceed the firearm's reasonable fair-market value, the firearm will be considered abandoned property of Snipers Nest LLC, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Customers are responsible for maintaining current contact information and promptly responding to pickup or return notices.
